Practiced for thousands of years, meditation is the focused attempt to move beyond conditioned thinking into a deeper state of awareness. On Meditation is a series of portraits exploring this deeply personal practice. The film offers a rare glimpse into the private insights of meditation practitioners, including Giancarlo Esposito, Mark Epstein, Elena Brower, David Lynch and Sharon Salzberg among others. They share how meditation works for them and how it has changed and continues to change them in the deepest and subtlest of ways.
A Q&A will follow the screening. Panel includes: director Rebecca Dreyfus, producer Susannah Ludwig, meditation teacher Elena Brower, Breaking Bad actor and meditator Giancarlo Esposito, and psychotherapist Mark Epstein.

Rebecca Dreyfus is an award-winning filmmaker. She has received numerous grants and fellowships for her work including those from the New York State Council on the Arts, the Sundance Film Institute, the Jerome Foundation, New York Foundation for the Arts, and Women in Film and Video.
