Teacher Enhancement Intensive at Cihangir Yoga Ìstinye, Istanbul

This is a Teacher Enhancement Intensive for 200-Hour Teacher Training graduates. It will be a closed group training that requires a commitment for 3 full days.
Hours of this workshop count towards Cihangir Yoga 300 Hour Path to Transformative Living and Teaching. Limited number of advanced students without a 200 Hour yoga certificate may be accepted; please inquire.
This multi-faceted exploration of the practice of teaching yoga will engage you in a process of living into your heart. Set your path to your highest creativity in your teaching and in your life. This module is designed to amplify the love and confidence in your heart, your body and your work. Expect alignment-based Hatha teachings, movement practices, meditation, and contemplation.
First, you have to master yourself, and then you will become teachers. A teacher is very open, a public park where anybody can walk in, so the teacher has to be very clean. Your conduct has to be crystal clear and you have to be absolutely transparent. Only then can you become a teacher. -Yogi Bhajan
Please bring a one or a few select sacred objects (malas, murtis, stones, quotes, photographs) you wish to bring to our temporary altar for the duration of our training. You’ll take your item(s) back once the training is completed, charged up with the energy and wisdom you’ve gained.

23 September – On Language and Vortices
On languaging the relevant truths of your own practice in service of your students. On listening practices, how to teach focused classes, your teaching voice, remixing inspirations, and creating a vision for your teaching. On the system of the Chakras and how to effectively teach the concept, on the imprints we choose, and a fresh look at anatomy for structural integrity.
24 September – On Boundaries and Intimacy
On sequence and consequence. On the informative boundaries of sequencing to a peak pose. On how to use our work to stay close to ourselves, how to ensure that we stay in practice, and how to create the necessary intimacy to make us great teachers and leaders.
25 September – On Design, Presence and Leadership
On designing our attitudes, and our emotional stances. On presence as both means and aim. On Love as leadership, “seeing” as leadership, discussion of neurology, and shared expression.
