he Body as Nature: The Middle Ground
We live in crisis and in savoring, often in the same breath. The middle path asks us to hold both.
Over three hours, Elena Brower and Olga Sokolova guide a practice into that wide, soft place where thought, judgment, and opinion can move through without needing to stay. Elena opens with yoga and contemplative stillness, creating space in mind and body for what is arising. Olga then leads us into the body’s architecture—joints, fascia, and the intelligence that connects them—through slow, fluid movement. The afternoon unfolds into rhythm, improvisation, and expression, finding coherence by listening to what is already here.
A day for the middle ground: between stillness and movement, structure and freedom, a world in crisis and the moments that make it worth living. Olga is a movement artist, choreographer, educator, and founder of MIDLGROUND Movement Practice.
